Funding
15 hours funding
Eligible families with children aged 9 months and 2 years old are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare. All 3 and 4 year old children are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare.
Funding commences from the term start after they turn 9 months, 2 or 3 years old. The funding is only applicable for 38 weeks a year (school term only). As Linden Tree Nursery Schools is a private provision this funding is stretched over 52 weeks. Therefore a total of 570 hours per school year (15 hours x 38 weeks = 570 hours) can be claimed which is spread at our nursery schools over 52 weeks (10.96 hours x 52 weeks = 570 hours).
This equates to 15 hours x 38 weeks /52 = 10.96 hours per week which will then be divided by the number of days in your booking pattern and applied to your account. For example, if you are have a 4 day booking pattern 10.96/4 = 2.74 funded hours per booked day.
The months in each term are :
For example, if your child's 3rd birthday is in October, the funding will start in the Spring Term
Once your child turns 3 years old the universal 15 hours funding will be automatically applied to your account by Linden Tree Finance team.
Please see gov.uk/childcare for current 9 month and 2 year old eligibility criteria, if you are eligible you will be provided with an 11 digit reference number that you should email to us along with the name and NI number of the parent who applied to info@ltns.org.uk, once confirmed the funding will be applied from the start of the next term to your monthly invoices.
Additional 15 hours (30 hours funding)
Once your child is 3 you may be eligible for an additional 15 hours of funded childcare, such that the total becomes 1,140 hours per school year (30 hours x 38 weeks). Please see gov.uk/childcare for current 3 year old eligibility criteria.
If you are eligible you will be provided with an 11 digit reference number that you should email to us along with the name and NI number of the parent who applied to info@ltns.org.uk, once confirmed the funding will be applied from the start of the next term to your monthly invoices.
This equates to 30 hours x 38 weeks /52 = 21.92 hours per week. This will then be divided by the number of days in your booking pattern and applied to your account.
For example, if you are have a 4 day booking pattern 21.92/4 = 5.48 funded hours per booked day
