Metropolitan Police visit Old Town Nursery

The Kindergarten and Pre-school classes at Old Town Nursery had an exciting visit from the local Policemen to talk to the classes about safety on the roads, not talking to strangers and the role of the police officer. Our upstanding citizens enjoyed trying on the uniforms and have been invited to the local police station to experience being mini detectives Well done to Lamarie, Anna and Chloe for another successful community lesson. 'No other investment yields as great a return as the investment in education. An educated workforce is the foundation of every community and the future of every economy.' Brad Henry

Vauxhall City Farm Trips

The Kindergarten and Pre-school classes at Old Town Nursery had a wonderful trip to Vauxhall City Farm to gain a better understanding of the other animals in this world and how they live either simile or differently. This was such a great success that Blue Room and Pink Room shall also be going this week on the 10th August 2017 Well done to Lamarie, Anna and Chloe for such a successful school trip, and thank you to those parents who also joined.

Out and About in the Community

'Great fires of London!' We have been out and about visiting our local fire station. We learnt all about fire and safety and the important things fireman do on a daily basis. Our next visit will be to the local Police Station to learn about important people in our community "Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it." Marian Wright Edelman
